I’m an interdisciplinary artist based in Leeds. I recently graduated from Leeds Arts University with a BA Illustration Degree.

I’m interested in how making informed by experience can allow the personal to cross realms into the magical. Zine making is pivotal to my practice - the immediacy in which zines can be made reflects a post-diary formation that homes my work somewhere between private and public. Using emblems and childish motifs, I see my illustrations as a scavenger hunt, collecting items, feelings and small friends that can be collated and rewarded with a sense of narrative. The narratives I strive to create act as a personal testimony; a documentation of emotion intertwining with nature and politics.

Recently I have been venturing off the page, using plasticine as a drawing tool. Also over lockdown I have become hooked on crochet (haha) and have been making wooly vests and babushkas!
